Financing on your project

Financing is available on our work, so a floor that needs doing does not have to wait for the whole cost to be sitting in one place. It is worth considering where the alternative is doing half the house now and the other half in two years, which usually costs more overall and leaves you with a transition in the middle of a hallway.

The practical advice is to decide the specification first and the payment second. Work out what the house actually needs — where the traffic goes, which rooms see water, what has to survive the dogs — and then look at how to pay for it. Choosing a thinner wear layer to hit a monthly number is the decision people most often regret.

How do I apply?

Raise it at the estimate and we will take you through the options available at that time and what the application involves. There is no benefit to sorting it out before you know what the job costs.

Does financing change the price of the work?

The quote for the flooring is the quote for the flooring. What differs between paying outright and financing is the cost of the finance itself, which we will lay out for you so you can compare the two honestly.

Should I reduce the specification to lower the payment?

We would push back on that. The wear layer on a vinyl plank, the density of a carpet and the pad underneath it are what decide whether the floor still looks right in eight years. If the budget has to give somewhere, give on the color or do fewer rooms now — not on the construction of the floor you are putting in.
